Emerging Store Manager

About the role

The Emerging Store Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations of a pharmacy and retail store. This role ensures a seamless customer experience, drives sales, and safeguards store assets while acting as the primary leader in the manager’s absence.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise customer service associates and designated staff, managing front‑end activities and merchandising.
• Handle cash management duties, including register counts, bank withdrawals, armored car pickups, and safe deposits.
• Oversee inventory control for both front‑end and pharmacy, execute price changes, and develop corrective action plans.
• Lead recruitment, hiring, performance management, and discipline of team members.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and emergency response protocols.
• Collaborate with external partners and support community outreach initiatives.
• Analyze operational data to make fact‑based decisions and monitor impact.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead and develop a retail team.
• Strong organizational skills with experience scheduling and managing shift coverage.
• Excellent problem‑solving and customer‑service orientation.
• Capability to act independently and assume full store responsibility when needed.
