Diretor de Obra – Lider de Projetos de Construção

About the role

We are looking for a Diretor de Obra to lead construction projects from design to hand‑over in Porto. The role is full‑time, on‑site and responsible for delivering projects on schedule, within budget and to the required quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and supervise daily site activities, ensuring alignment with project plans.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams, managing schedules and resources.
• Monitor progress, control costs, validate work quality and produce regular reports for management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, health‑safety and environmental standards.
• Resolve operational issues, make decisions under pressure and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a site director, construction manager or similar leadership position.
• Strong project management capabilities including planning, budgeting and risk management.
• Solid technical knowledge of construction methods, materials and structural systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field (preferred).
• Fluency in Portuguese; working knowledge of English is an advantage.
