Director - Strategy Execution - Advisors & Transformation

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a senior leader to act as a trusted advisor to senior Advisors & Transformation (A&T) and Business & Market Insights (B&MI) leadership. The role blends top‑tier management‑consulting rigor with deep organisational knowledge to drive strategy execution, AI‑enabled transformation and thought leadership across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Translate A&T and B&MI strategic ambitions into measurable outcomes, breaking down complex challenges into clear action plans for senior leadership.
• Identify execution bottlenecks, escalate risks and propose corrective actions to keep initiatives on track.
• Partner with vertical and capability leads on pipeline initiatives, go‑to‑market plans and product roadmaps, applying hypothesis‑driven problem solving and analytical rigor.
• Surface cross‑vertical synergies, strategic gaps and white‑space opportunities for integrated value creation.
• Coordinate and craft C‑level presentations on business performance, market trends and strategic updates, turning multi‑dimensional problems into concise executive narratives.
• Support the development of an AI‑by‑design operating model, identifying panoramic AI impact across business units.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior consulting or strategy roles within complex, matrixed organisations.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to formulate hypotheses and drive data‑backed decisions.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and challenging conventional thinking to unlock new value.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing C‑level stakeholders.
• Self‑driven, proactive attitude with a “go‑get‑it” mindset.
