Director, Product Management, Developer Experience

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a senior product leader to shape the strategy for its developer platform in the AI era. You will own the vision for agentic developer tooling, influence AI‑powered search and discovery, and create a commercial motion for a new distribution channel.

Key responsibilities

• Define the product roadmap for agentic tooling, including agent skills, MCP servers, CLI tooling, and standards for "agent‑ready" APIs.
• Partner with strategy and product teams to position Mastercard in the agentic channel and map the API catalog to AI use cases.
• Represent Developer Experience in cross‑functional go‑to‑market discussions, influencing packaging, pricing, and distribution.
• Align Product, Sales, and Marketing around a shared commercialization hypothesis and test it with design partners.
• Set success metrics for each initiative and establish reporting structures to track outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product development on developer platforms, API products, or developer tooling.
• Hands‑on experience building alongside engineers, not just managing surface features.
• Deep familiarity with the AI tooling ecosystem and AI coding assistants.
• Track record of operating in ambiguity and taking projects from 0 to 1.
• Clear communicator able to influence diverse audiences.
