Digital Learning & AI Specialist

About the role

The Digital Learning & AI Specialist joins the Learning and Development Capability Team at AMGEN's Lisbon office, supporting the development, delivery and adoption of Future of Field capabilities. The role helps field-facing teams through learning, digital and AI-powered solutions that strengthen capability building, improve access to insights and support more effective customer engagement. It works closely with L&D colleagues, business stakeholders, product owners and the DevOps team.

The position is offered initially as a 1-year fixed-term contract, with the intention and possibility to transition to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design, delivery and continuous improvement of Future of Field capabilities and digital learning solutions.
• Test, validate and document AI features, automated workflows, Power BI applications and other digital tools.
• Showcase MyGenius, Amgen's in-house AI ecosystem, and other digital capabilities to business stakeholders.
• Research emerging AI, automation, analytics and learning technologies and contribute to Proofs of Concept.
• Gather, analyse and document business requirements and turn them into functional requirements.
• Collaborate with product owners, L&D colleagues, field-facing teams and technical teams on solution design and delivery.
• Build and maintain Power BI applications, reports, dashboards and data visualisations.
• Support process automation and data integration, and create functional designs, process flows, system interface diagrams and technical specifications.
• Take part in Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Learning and Development, Business Technology or a related field.
• At least 1-3 years of experience in digital product delivery, business analysis, L&D, technology consulting, data analytics, software development or a related role.
• Experience gathering and translating business requirements into functional requirements, and supporting testing, validation and delivery of digital products.
• Proficiency in English.
• Preferred: interest in AI, generative AI and automation; experience with Power BI, Power Platform, AI platforms such as MyGenius or Microsoft Copilot Studio, and Agile environments.

Salary range: 24,607.50 EUR - 33,292.50 EUR.
