DevOps Specialist

About the role

Extia is looking for a DevOps Specialist with 3‑4 years of hands‑on experience to join its engineering consultancy teams. You will work closely with development squads to streamline software delivery, improve infrastructure reliability, and promote automation across projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support development teams during project initiation, redesign, and architecture evolution phases.
• Provide DevOps expertise and recommendations on application architecture and infrastructure.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Define and promote development standards, testing strategies, code quality, and security best practices.
• Automate infrastructure and operational processes using configuration‑as‑code tools.
• Contribute to the evolution of internal development, testing, security, and deployment tools.
• Monitor and reduce technical debt through migrations, refactoring, and security improvements.
• Support teams on architecture, deployment, source control, testing, performance, and cybersecurity topics.
• Develop and maintain shared tools and components used across multiple teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to standardize and industrialize development practices.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Automation role.
• Strong knowledge of Linux‑based environments.
• Passion for automation, CI/CD practices, and software delivery optimization.
• Proactive problem‑solver with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, comfortable working in English; French is a plus.
