Senior Frontend Developer

About the role

KCS IT is seeking a Senior Frontend Developer to join its hybrid team in Braga. You will work on cutting‑edge web applications, primarily using Angular, and help shape the technical direction of the product while mentoring junior developers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive UI components using Angular (latest versions) and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless data flow.
• Implement UI styling with HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and UI libraries such as Angular Material or Bootstrap.
• Write unit and end‑to‑end tests to guarantee code quality and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and Git version control processes.
• Contribute to state‑management solutions, preferably with NgRx or similar libraries.
• Provide technical leadership, guide the team on best practices, and support architectural decisions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience developing Angular applications.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
