DevOps Engineer / SRE (Bare-Metal)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer to join a high‑performance team that builds and operates an ultra‑low latency algorithmic trading platform. You will work with cutting‑edge infrastructure, focusing on bare‑metal environments and automation to ensure maximum performance and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the DevOps and infrastructure components of the e‑trading platform.
• Own and continuously improve the CI/CD pipeline and overall software development lifecycle processes.
• Automate infrastructure configuration, provisioning, and deployments using tools such as Ansible or Puppet.
• Support complex application environments, including hardware, network, and system layers.
• Collaborate with global engineering, business, and support teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Drive platform performance enhancements through infrastructure and automation initiatives.
• Participate in data and tool migrations within the CI/CD ecosystem.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles.
• Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX operating systems and TCP/IP fundamentals.
• Proficiency in English (mandatory).

Required skills

• Version control and CI/CD tools: Git, Jenkins, TeamCity, Maven, Gradle, Artifactory.
• Monitoring and observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Geneos.
• Scripting languages: Python, Bash.
• Containerisation and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
• Configuration management: Ansible or Puppet.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, C#, or C++ (optional).
