DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive DevOps Engineer to join our growing IT team in Portugal. You will work closely with business units to support their IT needs, ensure smooth production workflows, and help automate routine tasks. This is a mid‑level position (3‑6 years experience) in a dynamic, multi‑office environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support business IT requirements and understand production workflows.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and change requests.
• Communicate status updates to stakeholders and partner teams.
• Diagnose underlying issues, apply patches or releases, and address systemic problems.
• Write scripts and automate procedure‑oriented tasks to improve daily operations.

Required profile

• Mid‑level experience (3‑6 years) in a DevOps or similar role.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Hands‑on experience with RedHat Linux environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple offices (Lisbon and Porto).

Required skills

• DevOps practices and tooling.
• Linux administration (especially RedHat).
• Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
• Windows operating systems.
• Application performance monitoring, specifically Dynatrace.
• General IT infrastructure knowledge.
• Shell scripting.
