DevOps Engineer (Hybrid) – Portugal

About the role

Intermedia is looking for a proactive DevOps Engineer to join its Development & Engineering team in Portugal. The role offers a hybrid working style, allowing you to collaborate in offices across Coimbra, Aveiro, or Porto while also working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to deploy and maintain application infrastructure.
• Develop and support tooling that streamlines deployment and maintenance processes.
• Use Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm to move applications from development to production.
• Support in‑house and third‑party applications, handling deployments, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Create and manage automation pipelines for application deployment and maintenance.
• Administer Linux servers via the command line on a daily basis.
• Document processes and best practices clearly.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and related data infrastructure.
• Work with data engineers to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in DevOps engineering or a related field.
• Comfortable working on both complex systems and routine operational tasks.
• Strong willingness to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.
