DevOps Engineer – Azure Cloud Platform

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on DevOps Engineer to join a fast‑growing insurance technology business in Lisbon. You will work closely with engineering teams to shape a secure, scalable Azure platform that underpins critical business systems, enjoying real ownership of infrastructure automation, networking, security and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build Azure infrastructure using Bicep.
• Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Implement and manage Azure networking components such as VNets, hub‑spoke topology, firewalls and private endpoints.
• Support containerised workloads with Docker, Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Enhance cloud security, identity and access management using Entra ID, RBAC and Managed Identities.
• Provide monitoring, observability and alerting for platform services.
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to optimise deployment and operational processes.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services.
• Good knowledge of cloud networking and security concepts.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Bicep.
• Proven CI/CD experience, ideally with Azure DevOps.
• Container experience with Docker, Kubernetes or AKS.
• Ability to take ownership, solve problems and work in production environments.
