Development Engineer – Reliability (f/m/div.)

About the role

As a Development Engineer – Reliability Responsible at Bosch’s Aveiro site, you will ensure that heating‑solution products meet the highest quality and reliability standards throughout their development lifecycle. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to drive risk‑based design, validation testing and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and moderate quality‑prevention workshops such as FMEA, DRBFM and risk assessments.
• Plan, execute and analyse design validation tests and present results to development teams.
• Develop new test methods and build test rigs for reliability verification.
• Conduct technical and safety reviews within product development projects.
• Organise and facilitate risk‑management meetings with stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering and reliability processes.

Required profile

• Master’s or PhD in Mechanical, Physics, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in technical product development and reliability testing (preferred).
• Strong analytical mindset, proactive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
