Data Integration Engineer (ETL/ELT & Data Platforms)

About the role

We are seeking a Data Integration Engineer to join our international data projects. You will design, build, and maintain high‑performance data pipelines that ensure data quality, availability, and governance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines from multiple source systems.
• Configure and manage integration tools such as Semarchy, Stambia, Talend, or DataStage.
• Develop and optimise SQL queries and data models for data warehouses and data lakes.
• Implement data quality controls, lineage tracking, and monitoring processes.
• Manage workflow scheduling with VTOM, Virtual‑M, or similar tools.
• Automate operational tasks using UNIX/Linux shell scripting.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and apply optimisation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Create technical documentation and support knowledge transfer to operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering or related field.
• Strong hands‑on experience with ETL/ELT tools (Semarchy, Stambia, Talend, DataStage or similar).
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake).
• Experience with workload automation/scheduling tools (VTOM, Virtual‑M or equivalent).
• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux scripting (Shell, awk, sed).
• Solid understanding of data warehousing, data quality, data lineage and metadata management.
• French (minimum B2) and professional English proficiency.
