Data Governance Implementation Lead

About the role

Adaptfy is seeking a Data Governance Implementation Lead to turn data governance concepts into daily practice for one of the SHV groups. You will work from our Digital Campus in Porto, collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to embed governance processes and templates.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data governance frameworks for an SHV group, starting with high‑value domains.
• Facilitate workshops, build relationships, and embed new ways of working across SHV companies.
• Create reusable governance building blocks, templates, and practical implementation approaches.
• Collaborate with data, analytics, architecture, privacy, security, and business consulting teams.
• Provide senior‑level support and coaching to junior team members.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in data governance, data management or related fields.
• Proven ability to work with both business and IT stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate governance concepts into actionable processes.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder‑management skills.
