Data Engineer

About the role

You will work closely with domain leads and data product owners to understand business needs and design data solutions on Google Cloud Platform. The position focuses on turning raw, messy data into reliable data products that can be consumed across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Transform and clean raw data from multiple sources, creating accurate and consistent data products.
• Implement automated tests to ensure data quality and reliability throughout pipelines.
• Document data products, including definitions, dimensions, key figures, and usage guidelines.
• Apply software‑engineering best practices to analytics, such as version control, testing, and continuous integration.
• Identify, propose, and automate non‑value‑added processes.

Required profile

• University degree in computer science, data science, finance, mathematics, physics or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of experience in a comparable engineering role.
• Strong programming skills in SQL and Python.
• Experience with cloud services, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
