Data Engineer

About the role

GRiT® is looking for a motivated Data Engineer to join its technology‑driven team. You will help design, build, and maintain data pipelines that power data‑driven applications across the organization. The role combines hands‑on development with collaboration in an agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy ETL processes in Azure cloud environments.
• Build and optimise data workflows using Spark, Databricks, and Azure Data Factory.
• Design and maintain SQL databases and data models to support analytics.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance through monitoring and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and ability to work autonomously.
• Good organisational, written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Azure cloud services.
• Apache Spark and Databricks.
• Azure Data Factory.
• SQL.
