About the role

Welvaart is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build and maintain data pipelines in a Databricks environment. The role bridges technical teams and business stakeholders, turning data into actionable insights that support decision‑making across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks.
• Work with both structured and unstructured data sources.
• Analyze data and generate insights to inform business decisions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Create dashboards and reports to visualise key metrics.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in data engineering or data analytics.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
