Data Center Infrastructure Supervisor

About the role

As a Data Center Infrastructure Supervisor you will lead the planning, execution and maintenance of critical infrastructure projects within client data centres. Working in the Core Implementation team, you will coordinate cross‑functional activities and ensure that all solutions meet technical, legal and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, plan and schedule infrastructure projects, including new data‑center rooms, rack/POD installations, HVAC, UPS and power distribution.
• Validate engineering designs, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and control project budgets.
• Install and maintain racks, servers, switches, firewalls, routers, storage systems and both fiber‑optic (FO) and UTP network cabling.
• Perform asset inventory, register equipment, and manage access accreditation for technicians and customers.
• Generate project and compliance reports using internal databases and workflow tools.
• Ensure adherence to legal requirements, health‑and‑safety policies and Vodafone internal regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Telecommunication Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data‑center implementation or operation in a production‑critical environment.
• Fluent communication in Portuguese and English, both in person and remotely.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage budgets and produce accurate documentation.
