Data Analyst – Regulatory Reporting (Lisbon)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our Lisbon team and support regulatory reporting across Finance and Risk domains. You will act as a bridge between business, risk, and IT, ensuring data quality and compliance with EU reporting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse data and regulatory reporting requirements, produce functional specifications and support testing.
• Translate business and regulatory needs into detailed data specifications and data lineage documentation.
• Maintain data quality, perform root‑cause investigations and remediation of reporting issues.
• Conduct User Acceptance Testing, controls testing and end‑to‑end data validation.
• Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams using Azure Boards and ensure stakeholder alignment.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar data analysis or regulatory reporting role.
• Strong knowledge of EU regulatory frameworks such as BASEL, FINREP and COREP.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
• Experience with data lineage, data mapping and impact analysis across source systems and data warehouses.

• Collibra or similar data governance tools

• Data Warehouse concepts and data quality management
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and controls testing
