Data Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our team and work directly with one or more business areas of a bank. You will turn complex data into actionable insights, supporting strategic decisions through analysis, visualization and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Understand business needs and propose data‑driven solutions.
• Retrieve, clean, and analyse large and complex datasets.
• Develop statistical models and visual reports using best‑practice data‑visualisation techniques.
• Automate reporting processes and build tools that guide strategic actions.
• Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Academic background in Engineering, Economics, Computing, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
• Professional experience with a data‑visualisation tool such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience in data analysis using programming, preferably Python (Pandas).
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize and simplify information.
• Good level of English.
• Knowledge of descriptive statistics and hypothesis testing is a plus.
• Familiarity with Big Data technologies (PySpark, Presto, Airflow) and Power Query/DAX is a plus.
