Cybersecurity Operations Analyst

About the role

Join a dynamic team as a Cybersecurity Operations Analyst, supporting a leading client in Portugal. You will work in a Level‑2 Security Operations Center (SOC) environment, monitoring and defending critical infrastructure against cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security and infrastructure events and alerts.
• Investigate, triage, and resolve incidents within an L2 SOC environment.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and follow‑up on incident resolution.
• Support Linux‑based systems and troubleshoot related issues.
• Work with Kubernetes to maintain containerized applications and services.
• Utilize Splunk for log analysis, correlation, and incident investigation.
• Escalate critical incidents and coordinate response with technical teams.
• Contribute to operational documentation and continuous‑improvement processes.

Required profile

• Professional experience in SOC L2 or incident‑management environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Splunk.
• Strong knowledge of Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with Kubernetes environments.
• Understanding of incident response and monitoring processes.
• Analytical mindset with solid problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent English.
