Cybersecurity GRC Consultant – Advisory Role

About the role

Randstad Group is seeking a Cybersecurity GRC Consultant to support a key client in strengthening their IT governance, risk and compliance (GRC) posture. You will work closely with client teams to assess current frameworks, identify gaps, and design solutions that meet business objectives and regulatory demands.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with clients to evaluate and improve IT GRC frameworks, policies, and procedures.
• Lead risk assessments, compliance audits, and gap analyses across multiple industries.
• Design and implement GRC solutions aligned with regulatory requirements such as ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST CSF.
• Provide expert advice on governance, risk management, and compliance strategies.
• Develop and deliver training workshops and presentations for client stakeholders.
• Prepare detailed reports and findings for senior client leadership.
• Manage several client engagements simultaneously while meeting quality and timeline expectations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Risk Management or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in IT GRC consulting or advisory services.
• Proven ability to deliver high‑quality consulting services to diverse clients.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and project‑management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Practical knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001 (implementation, controls, audit support).
• Familiarity with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF).
• Understanding of IT governance frameworks such as COBIT and ITIL.
• Knowledge of the NIS2 Directive (considered a plus).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer) are a plus.
