Cybersecurity Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Portuguese technology consulting firm. You will work on national and international projects, helping clients secure web applications, APIs, and infrastructure while collaborating with a diverse, multilingual team.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and improve the security posture of web applications, APIs, and client‑server systems.
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities following OWASP Top 10 guidelines.
• Participate in security reviews for various technology stacks, including thick‑client applications.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to embed security best practices.
• Produce clear documentation and reports in English for international stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity.
• Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of OWASP Top 10 and related best practices.
• Experience securing web applications, APIs, infrastructure, client‑server and thick‑client architectures.
