Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

Our client is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join a global advanced‑technology company. You will work closely with developers and system administrators to secure products, internal applications, and enable modern enterprise security practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain security solutions across cloud, web, endpoint, and network domains.
• Manage and test PKI, X509 certificates, OS user security, secrets management and code signing.
• Collaborate with engineers, developers, project owners and users to implement security controls and fulfill security requests.
• Explain security recommendations and adapt to new security protocols.
• Participate in cross‑team security projects and provide technical guidance.

Required profile

• Strong interest in cyber security and analytical problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and spoken communication abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks independently and remain responsive.

Required skills

• Understanding of TLS, X509 certificates, Web Application Firewalls and basic cryptography.
• Experience with Windows and Linux security tools such as RunAs, PsExec, sudo and ssh.
• Knowledge of authentication concepts including multifactor and single sign‑on.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for task automation.
• Familiarity with web client/server protocols (DNS, HTTP) and networking tools (nmap, curl, openssl, wireshark).
