Customs Transport Coordinator – Eastern Europe

About the role

Capgemini Engineering is looking for a Customs Transport Coordinator to support customs and transport operations across Romania, Ukraine, and Bulgaria. You will act as a bridge between internal teams, customs brokers, and authorities, ensuring smooth import/export and transit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate customs and transport activities in the three target countries.
• Work closely with customs brokers and local teams to manage import, export, and transit procedures.
• Review and validate customs documentation to guarantee regulatory compliance.
• Provide operational support during project execution and facilitate communication with internal stakeholders and authorities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in customs, transport, logistics, or freight forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of import/export procedures, customs documentation, and trade compliance.
• Experience collaborating with customs brokers, forwarding companies, or industrial projects.
• Understanding of EU‑East customs regulations and international trade terminology.
• Fluent in English and Ukrainian or Russian (Romanian is a plus).
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to work effectively in international, cross‑functional teams.
