Customer Support Technician – French Speaking

About the role

Cegid is looking for a Customer Support Technician who can assist users of its Retail software suite. The role focuses on helping French‑speaking clients, as well as English and Spanish speakers, resolve technical issues and make the most of the solution. You will work with a global client base, supporting retail brands across many points of sale.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and triage client requests via phone, portal, or chat.
• Provide accurate, timely responses and, when possible, resolve issues on the first contact.
• Escalate complex cases to higher‑level support while ensuring all relevant information is documented.
• Monitor recurring problems and alert the team to trends that may require proactive action.
• Maintain compliance with service contracts and follow daily best‑practice procedures.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills in French; English and/or Spanish are a plus.
• Educational background or proven experience in IT, particularly within a Windows environment.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to ask the right questions and gather pertinent information.
• Customer‑service orientation and a rigorous, detail‑oriented work style.
• Team spirit, curiosity, and a desire to continuously improve.
