Contract Manager

About the role

SBM Offshore is seeking a Contract Manager to support the execution and administration of contracts for less complex projects and to assist senior contract managers on major projects. The role ensures that contractual obligations are met throughout the project lifecycle, contributing to the company’s high‑availability and low‑carbon energy solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage main contracts and expedite contract deliverables.
• Monitor performance and compliance with contractual requirements, highlighting potential concerns.
• Maintain commercial and contractual awareness across the project team.
• Ensure full auditability of all commercial dealings, with clear record‑keeping and regular reporting.
• Provide contract feedback during the project and manage guarantee periods.

Required profile

• Degree or MBA in Business Management, Law, Construction Law, Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in contract management, including EPCI and subcontract management.
• Broad experience with sales and lease contracts and contract negotiation.
• Experience interfacing with project execution teams.

Required skills

• Contract administration and contractual compliance.

• Knowledge of contract law, model contracts and pre‑contract management.
