Content Moderator (Spanish)

About the role

A leading global provider of customer experience and business process outsourcing services is hiring a Spanish-speaking Content Moderator to join its Lisbon team. The role reviews content moderation decisions for a major social media platform, identifies quality issues and ensures consistent application of platform policies and community standards. It is a full-time, on-site position.

Key responsibilities

• Review completed content moderation cases to ensure accuracy and compliance with platform policies
• Evaluate decisions involving sensitive content, including hate speech, violence, self-harm and child safety
• Identify quality issues, recurring errors and inconsistencies in policy application
• Investigate root causes of errors and recommend improvements
• Give constructive feedback to moderation teams and take part in quality calibration sessions
• Apply Spanish cultural, linguistic and political knowledge when assessing complex cases
• Monitor quality trends and support improvements in moderation accuracy
• Escalate high-risk cases and policy concerns through the right channels
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with data protection standards

Required profile

• Native or fluent Spanish, written and spoken
• Fluent English (B2 level and higher)
• Strong understanding of Spanish cultural, social and political contexts
• Previous experience in content moderation, quality assurance or trust and safety is an advantage
