Construction Quality Control Manager

About the role

The Construction Quality Control Manager will lead the project‑specific Quality Control program for military construction projects in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. You will ensure that all construction activities comply with contract requirements, project standards, and RQ Construction’s quality commitments while maintaining comprehensive documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee the Quality Control program for each project.
• Verify that construction work meets contract specifications, design standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain thorough project records, inspection reports, and quality documentation.
• Coordinate closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve quality issues.
• Conduct specialty inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Support fast‑track commercial and DoD construction schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of commercial construction experience in roles such as Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, or Project Engineer.
• At least 2 years of experience specifically as a Quality Control Manager.
• Current USACE CQM for Contractors certification (required).
• Level 1 EM 385‑1‑1, CRP, First Aid, and OSHA 30‑hour certifications (required).
• Fluent English and Spanish communication skills (highly preferred).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and standard computer tools.
