Construction & Development HSE Manager – Renewable Energy

About the role

The Construction & Development HSE Manager will lead health, safety and environmental initiatives across renewable energy construction projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and fostering a culture of safety.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures for renewable energy construction projects.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations.
• Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics and trends.
• Provide training and guidance on health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate HSE practices into daily operations.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and manage inspections.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement in HSE performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HSE management within the energy or construction sectors, preferably in renewables.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence and guide teams.
• Certification in HSE or related fields (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• NEBOSH or IOSH certification (highly desirable).
