Commis Waiter / Junior Server (M/F)

About the role

Join the Aethos Ericeira team as a Commis Waiter / Junior Server and become part of a community‑focused hospitality concept. You will support the food and beverage service, ensuring every guest experience reflects the brand’s commitment to sustainability, well‑being, and memorable moments.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, escort them to their tables and provide attentive, friendly service.
• Prepare and maintain table settings, perform mise‑en‑place, and keep the dining area clean.
• Present menus, offer recommendations, and take orders using the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages while adhering to quality and service standards.
• Assist with stock management for the dining area and handle billing closure.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP and other food hygiene and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Professional training in Food & Beverage service or 1‑2 years of proven experience.
• Fluent Portuguese and strong English communication; additional languages are a plus.
• Customer‑oriented, friendly, and excellent communication skills.
• Team player, proactive, with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Flexible availability for rotating and split shifts.
