Cloud DevOps Engineer (AWS, Terraform, K8s, Automation)

About the role

Altium Limited is looking for a hands‑on Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate its AWS infrastructure. You will own the automation of deployment pipelines, manage Kubernetes workloads, and continuously improve operational reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain production and non‑production AWS environments.
• Develop, test, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Operate and support Amazon EKS clusters, including deployments, scaling, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab CI and automate release processes.
• Create automation scripts and tools in Python, Go, Bash, or PowerShell to reduce manual effort.
• Implement monitoring and alerting for AWS services and Kubernetes using Prometheus and New Relic.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and drive post‑incident improvements.

Required profile

• 6+ years of hands‑on DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure experience.
• Strong expertise with core AWS services (EC2, EKS, ECS, RDS, S3, Route 53, VPC networking).
• Deep experience with Terraform and Kubernetes fundamentals.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Solid Linux administration skills; Windows knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to write and maintain automation scripts in Python, Go, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of SDLC and micro‑services deployment patterns.
