Clinical Research Assistant / Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Clinical Research Assistant/Nurse to support daily operations of clinical research studies, providing professional support to participants and the research team.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and organization of study documents and materials.
• Schedule and coordinate participant appointments and follow‑up visits.
• Support participant recruitment and prescreening activities.
• Perform protocol‑related procedures such as vital signs, ECGs, specimen collection, and other delegated tasks.
• Process and prepare laboratory specimens according to established procedures.
• Enter and maintain study data in electronic systems with accuracy.
• Assist with maintaining participant records and study documentation.
• Support research coordinators with administrative tasks and monitor visits.
• Ensure clinical areas and supplies are organized and ready for participant visits.
• Follow study protocols, regulatory requirements, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a health‑related field or completion of a Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, CNA, or similar program, or equivalent experience.
• Experience providing direct patient care.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
