About the role

Fogo de Chão is looking for a passionate Churrasco Grill Cook (Churrasqueiro I) to join its restaurant team. The successful candidate will bring Brazilian “gaucho” grilling traditions to life, delivering an unforgettable dining experience for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook special cuts of beef and other meats following traditional Brazilian churrasco recipes.
• Season, grill, and present food according to prescribed methods and guest requests.
• Portion, garnish, and serve dishes in the authentic gaucho style.
• Answer guest questions about churrasco‑style cuisine and convey Brazilian gaucho culture.
• Maintain cleanliness of the grill area and complete opening or closing shift duties.

Required profile

• Ability to lift up to 50 lb, stand for long periods and work at a quick pace.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
