About the role
We are seeking a Certified Accountant (Contabilista Certificado) to join our team and work alongside tax and corporate lawyers on the accounting and tax affairs of our international clients. The role involves managing accounting and tax compliance for Portuguese companies while providing direct client support.
Key responsibilities
- Bookkeeping and day‑to‑day accounting for Portuguese entities.
- Preparation and submission of IRC returns and other tax filings.
- Ensuring periodic accounting and tax compliance.
- Responding to client queries and attending client meetings.
- Collaborating closely with tax lawyers on corporate structures and international tax matters.
Required profile
- Contabilista Certificado registered in Portugal.
- Strong experience in Portuguese accounting and corporate tax.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Fast and reliable in responding to client requests.
- Comfortable dealing directly with clients and attending meetings.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a legal team.
- Experience with international clients is a plus.
