Category Manager - HPE GreenLake

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise is recruiting a Category Manager for its GreenLake offering. The role is hybrid, with an average of two days per week spent in an HPE office. It covers end-to-end management of a product category across its lifecycle, ensuring improved service-to-segment mapping on revenue, gross margin and service offering, and executing the category strategy (product offering, positioning, placement and pricing) in the LASER countries.

Key responsibilities

• E2E ownership of one category (e.g. HPE GreenLake), from offer creation to order booking, acting as the single point of contact for local sales
• Manage NPI/NSI in LASER and ensure sales readiness in the geography
• Implement business development initiatives and drive local key initiatives to grow orders and revenue
• Segment and heat-map the market, identify target customers and execute the global launch and action plans
• Run yearly and quarterly growth plans, and develop initiatives such as promotions, bundles and account identification
• Represent the portfolio in customer and partner events, train the local sales team and support deal shaping
• Provide competitive insight, approve contractual discounts and central procurement requests, and support pilots for new offers

Required profile

• Local language and English (advanced to bilingual)
• Typically 12+ years of experience demonstrating mastery of Service Business Management
• Advanced experience in delivery, solution architecting or business planning before a business management role
