Category Lead Specialist

About the role

Dyson is seeking a Category Lead Specialist to drive commercial success across all product categories in Portugal. The role sits within the Iberian cluster (Spain and Portugal) and works closely with marketing, media, and sales teams to shape strategy, execute campaigns, and deliver growth.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse market, consumer, media landscape and competitor data to inform category strategy.
• Support implementation of marketing campaigns, influencer activations and media budgets.
• Oversee forecasting, budgeting and demand planning for each category.
• Collaborate with distribution channels to develop Joint Business Plans (JBP) for key accounts.
• Work with the Iberia Media Manager to execute media plans, track performance and optimise ROI.
• Localise marketing assets, ensure compliance with legal and brand guidelines, and coordinate delivery with creative agencies.
• Provide insights from sales performance and market research (e.g., GFK, brand tracker) to identify risks and opportunities.
• Support new product launches across all channels and manage stakeholder communication.
• Assist with budget monitoring, invoicing and Category Brand Building Investment (BBI) management.

Required profile

• Ability to analyse financials, sales performance and market insights.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across retail, direct, PR and media teams.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.
