Cash Application Accountant

About the role

The Cash Application Accountant ensures that all bank movements are accurately recorded and supported in the accounting system. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to maintain the integrity of daily bank postings and monthly reconciliations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control the daily bank posting process.
• Prepare and record daily bank entries by analysing bank statements and general‑ledger data.
• Collaborate with internal teams to obtain necessary information for postings.
• Execute monthly bank reconciliations and document month‑end evidences.
• Provide reports based on bank accounting entries.
• Identify and implement continuous‑improvement initiatives for bank postings and reconciliations.
• Perform ad‑hoc reporting tasks as required by the line manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in an accounting role.
• Fluent English (mandatory); Spanish is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and principles.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and work in an international environment.
