Capital Project Manager – Automation & Packaging Equipment

About the role

This managerial position is responsible for executing the assigned capital portfolio, overseeing multiple well‑defined automation and packaging projects from concept through close‑out, and ensuring compliance with company policies, SOPs and global regulatory guidelines such as cGMP.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multi‑disciplinary capital projects, coordinating design, procurement, construction and commissioning while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare project status reports, cost forecasts, schedules and track expenditures against budgets.
• Select and manage external A&E firms, review design deliverables and conduct design meetings.
• Develop project estimates, bid packages and oversee contractor performance, including inspections and change‑order management.
• Apply cGMP principles, participate in HAZOP and Operational Readiness Reviews, and embed safety and environmental standards into all project phases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• At least 8 years of experience in capital project management, preferably in automation and packaging.
• Strong verbal and written communication, ability to produce effective reports and presentations.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments, organize daily activities and adapt to change.
