Capital Markets & Accounting Consultant

About the role

PwC’s Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS) team helps organisations navigate complex financial transformations. As a Capital Markets & Accounting Consultant you will support clients through transactions, accounting changes, regulatory challenges and digitalisation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advisory and implementation support for complex financial transactions, IPOs, business valuations and transaction structuring.
• Assist clients with GAAP conversions, new accounting standards implementation, and resolution of technical accounting issues.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality client service and develop practical reporting solutions.
• Lead technology implementation projects within the finance function, including digitalisation of reporting processes.
• Support audit teams on complex accounting topics.

Required profile

• Master’s and/or degree in Management, Economics, Mathematics, Finance or Accounting.
• Fluency in Portuguese (mandatory) and strong command of English (written and oral).
• 2‑4 years of professional experience in a Big 4 environment.
• High sense of responsibility, critical and analytical thinking, and ability to work in a team.
