Business Travel Consultant (English) – Hybrid – Lisbon

About the role

Navan is looking for an experienced Business Travel Consultant to join its Travel Experience team in Lisbon. Working in a hybrid setting, you will be the first point of contact for travelers, helping them book flights, hotels, cars and rail journeys while ensuring a seamless experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide top‑tier travel support via chat, phone and email, meeting service level agreements.
• Handle end‑to‑end bookings for air, rail, hotel and car rentals using global distribution systems.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of suppliers, destinations and Navan’s platform features.
• Guide customers toward self‑service options on the Navan app and website.
• Escalate and resolve issues in collaboration with product, design and engineering teams.
• Deliver feedback on processes, product improvements and supplier performance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Travel Consultant covering air, rail and hotel bookings.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with a GDS (Sabre, Amadeus or Galileo).
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Flexible to work rotating shifts, Monday‑Sunday, between 7 am and 11 pm.
• Resident in Portugal or willing to relocate.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GDS platforms such as Sabre, Amadeus or Galileo.
• Comfortable using Gmail, Zendesk, Slack and Salesforce.
• Strong multitasking ability and independent problem‑solving.
