Business Technology Associate - Test Support Specialist

About the role

Metyis is looking for a Business Technology Associate with 3-6 years of experience to join its Delivery Excellence team at the HUGO BOSS Digital Campus in Porto. The role supports technology transformation and the implementation of Planning Tools by running business testing across all project phases, and also covers rollout and user support.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and partly coordinate end-to-end business testing across all phases: sprint testing, SIT, UAT, handshakes between workstreams, roll-out validation, regression and re-testing after defect fixes, and testing of enhancements and bug fixes during live usage.
• Support the test manager with test scope, test data, test cases, defect handling and test coordination.
• Guide business testers and junior test resources and promote consistent standards for test evidence and defect reporting.
• Take part in workshops, sprint reviews and project meetings, and communicate status, issues, decisions and follow-up actions proactively.
• Prepare training materials, documentation and user onboarding, and provide first-level functional support during hyper care and live usage.
• Help maintain user-friendly training materials and configuration documentation from a business perspective, and support Business Managers and project management tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Management, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Relevant experience in business testing, test coordination, business analysis, technology consulting and implementation, or a comparable project role.
• Hands-on experience with test cases, UAT and regression testing, evidence documentation and defect tracking.
• Ability to understand business processes and technology quickly and turn business needs into clear functional requirements.
• Confidence working with business users, Business Managers, IT teams and external partners, and willingness to travel for projects, training and roll-outs.
• Experience in fashion, retail or another complex international environment is preferred but not required.

Required skills

• Experience creating training materials, process documentation, presentations and status updates.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar test-management and defect-tracking tools.
• Very good Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, with data analysis and presentation skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Supply chain planning knowledge (integrated, demand, merchandise planning) and exposure to planning platforms such as o9 Solutions are a plus.
