Business Management Officer – French Speaker

About the role

Natixis in Portugal is seeking a proactive Business Management Officer who is fluent in French and English. The role serves as the central point for all financial and budgeting matters within the department, supporting both local and global stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Produce, deliver and maintain financial and budget reports, KPIs, and P&L statements for the department.
• Support budget reviews, forecasts, invoice processing and perform gap analyses to identify discrepancies and propose corrective actions.
• Act as the main finance contact for the team, ensuring clear visibility of financial status for local and on‑shore management.
• Liaise with Finance, IT, Operations, Compliance and other departments to resolve issues and gather financial requirements.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date staffing file tracking joiners, exits and internal moves, providing an audit trail for capacity planning.
• Participate in ad‑hoc Business Management and Transformation projects, including internal communications and sustainability initiatives.

Required profile

• Fluency in French and English (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions and geographies.
