Business Development Representative – Field-Based Sales

About the role

Join a fast‑growing provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy dedicated to reducing waiting times for autism diagnosis and treatment. As a Business Development Representative you will drive referral growth by building relationships with healthcare professionals and community partners.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and nurture relationships with prospective referral sources such as pediatricians, school counselors, therapists, daycare directors, and nonprofit leaders.
• Conduct outbound outreach through in‑person visits, networking events, cold introductions, and field drop‑ins.
• Execute a consistent weekly prospecting plan to generate new opportunities, expand market share, and diversify referral channels.
• Qualify leads, document partner alignment, and assess readiness for engagement.
• Log all outreach activities, visit notes, referrals, and contacts in Salesforce daily.
• Maintain full visibility of referral status, outcomes, and lead aging across accounts.

Required profile

• Proven experience in healthcare or related business‑development roles.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate gatekeepers and win over doctors and decision‑makers.
• Strong motivation to make a tangible impact on families affected by autism.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.

Required skills

• Salesforce (CRM) proficiency.
