Business Development Manager – Global Payments

About the role

Revolut is seeking a senior Business Development Manager to lead financial partnerships for global card payments and services. You will own the end‑to‑end process of identifying, closing, and scaling high‑value partnerships that drive customer acquisition, product adoption, and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead high‑impact relationships with global payment schemes, public authorities, research institutions and industry associations.
• Structure and drive strategic initiatives to maximise and optimise debit and credit card revenue and profit‑and‑loss.
• Navigate and lead global regulatory changes affecting card revenues, defining proactive action plans.
• Quantify commercial implications of regulatory and market shifts to support high‑stakes decision‑making and risk mitigation.
• Manage mission‑critical initiatives from scoping through delivery.
• Collaborate closely with Government Affairs, Card Payments, Legal, Merchant Acquiring, FX and other teams to execute projects and payment initiatives.

Required profile

• 9+ years of experience in financial services with a focus on card payments.
• Deep expertise in card scheme economics (scheme fees, interchange, etc.) and the broader payments ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of the regulatory environment for cards and other payment methods.
• Proactive, hands‑on problem‑solver with a drive to implement change.
