Business Developer (Architecture & Design)

About the role

Broadway Malyan is seeking a proactive Business Developer to support the growth of its international architecture and design practice. The role will focus on raising the firm’s profile, identifying new opportunities and nurturing client relationships across a range of master‑planning, architecture and interior design projects.

Key responsibilities

• Promote Broadway Malyan’s brand and services to prospective clients.
• Research, qualify and pursue new business opportunities in the architecture and design sector.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners and consultants.
• Track bid opportunities, manage submission timelines and assist in preparing tender documents, proposals and presentations.
• Support the creation of high‑quality visual presentations and layout materials.
• Maintain and update project data, case studies and team CVs.
• Assist with events, marketing activities and business‑development initiatives.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in business development or a related field (preferred).
• Excellent communication skills in both Portuguese and English.
• Strong organisational abilities with a keen eye for detail and the capacity to multitask.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in architecture, urban development and the built environment.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office suite.
• Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign a plus).
