Business Analyst – Marketing Department

About the role

FirstBank PR is seeking a Business Analyst to support the financial and operational management of its Marketing & Corporate Communications Department. The role ensures accurate budgeting, accruals, invoice processing, and financial reporting to drive informed decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, consolidate, and submit monthly accruals across all business lines, maintaining audit‑ready documentation.
• Audit and validate invoices from agencies and vendors, coordinate processing with Accounts Payable, and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Perform monthly and year‑to‑date expense analyses, prepare budget variance explanations, and develop financial models and forecasts.
• Partner with marketing managers and finance teams to monitor spending against approved budgets and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and accrual management.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
• Effective communication skills to liaise between Marketing, Finance, vendors, and other business units.
• Knowledge of internal controls and procurement policies.
