Business Analyst – IT Custody & Tax

About the role

We are seeking a Business Analyst specialized in IT Custody and Tax to join our Inetum team in Lisbon. You will work in a hybrid environment, collaborating with a multinational group of analysts to deliver functional solutions for custody and settlement platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to preliminary studies, clarifying and challenging business requirements.
• Formalise functional requirements, obtain validation from the Business, and provide expertise throughout the project lifecycle.
• Elicit new requirements for system enhancements and manage change‑request processes.
• Develop functional specifications, test enhancements, and support UAT activities.
• Assist the Business in functional testing and user acceptance.
• Identify product gaps in market and transversal projects, proposing improvements.
• Follow project phases, respecting workflows, planning, and reporting deadlines.
• Communicate project standards, perform peer reviews, and provide functional or technical analysis on complex requests.
• Provide backup support to the Service Delivery team when needed.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Management, Tax, or Law.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on custody activities.
• Strong knowledge of corporate action processes.
• Experience with Waterfall methodology and Jira.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
