Business Analyst – French Required (Hybrid, Porto)

About the role

We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong French language skills to join our hybrid team in Porto. You will work on IT and digital transformation projects, acting as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document functional and non‑functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into user stories, use cases, process flows and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with international stakeholders and development teams to ensure clear communication.
• Support Agile ceremonies (Scrum/Kanban) and maintain product backlogs.
• Produce and maintain high‑quality documentation throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to BI and data‑analytics initiatives as required.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or digital transformation projects.
• Experience with international or regulated sectors such as finance, insurance or healthcare is a plus.
• Fluent in English and French, both spoken and written.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI‑PBA, IREB, Scrum Product Owner) are advantageous.

Required skills

• JIRA, Confluence or Azure DevOps for requirements management.
• Business analysis techniques and frameworks (BPMN, UML).
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and the SDLC.
• Familiarity with BI and data‑analytics environments.
• Certifications such as CBAP, PMI‑PBA, IREB or Scrum Product Owner.
