Boutique Hotel Manager – Lisbon

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, hands‑on Boutique Hotel Manager to lead operations, inspire a team of roughly 45 employees, and support the continued growth of a well‑established award‑winning hotel in Lisbon’s Liberdade district. The role includes responsibility for the hotel, its kiosk, and terrace, and will contribute to the opening of a second property slated for 2028.

Key responsibilities

• Full operational responsibility for the hotel, kiosk, and terrace.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of approximately 45 staff members.
• Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and maintain high service standards across all areas.
• Manage team performance, engagement, scheduling and productivity.
• Oversee housekeeping and maintenance to uphold quality standards.
• Supervise food & beverage operations, including bar, kiosk and terrace.
• Handle administrative matters, liaising with local authorities, inspections and regulatory bodies.
• Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor service quality and ensure consistent hotel standards.
• Take ownership of operational targets and overall business performance.
• Collaborate with the Owner and senior leadership on future expansion projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing hotel operations as a Hotel Manager, Operations Manager or similar hospitality leadership role.
• Strong people‑management and leadership capabilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Extroverted, energetic and service‑oriented personality.
• Highly autonomous with the ability to self‑manage in a low‑supervision environment.
• Strong sense of accountability and achievement.
• Hands‑on operational mindset.
• Food & beverage management experience is highly valued.
• Fluent English is essential; Portuguese is highly desirable.
